Our Pastor and His Wife

Our Pastor is Malcolm Bicker. A son of missionaries, he was born in Peru, S.A. in 1933. His father died in Peru when Malcolm was four years old. At that time his mother brought him and his younger brother home to Toronto, Canada. It was there as a child that he put his trust in Christ and yielded his life for Christ's service. He received his pastoral education at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. In 1955 he married Patricia Gumm, a student at Columbia Bible College in Columbia, SC. God gave them three children and eleven grandchildren. Together they have served the Lord in churches in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and New Mexico. Pastor Bicker has pastored Alameda Bible Church since 1990. His preaching is primarily expository, practically applying the Scriptures to life.
